Born on the streets of New York City by Ukrainian Boxer Roman Grytsenko, our boxing attire combines the elegant luxury of the City with the fighting spirit of its people. With our street casual looks, we are rebels that are redefining what boxing lovers wear so they can shift with ease and understated confidence from the boxing ring to the neighborhood bar for a post-workout drink and even to that hot evening date we have been planning for some time.
Looking boxing cool while navigating intense workouts and busy social lives on the streets of NYC is our company’s priority. Our classic shapes and bold logo mix versatility with unique creativity in a tantalizing play that allows all boxing warriors to feel and be unapologetically themselves always and everywhere. Staying true to street boxing but for the modern world, we have adapted the fearless energy of the traditional sport, the persistent discipline of the training, the dance-like movement of its steps and the deeply-rooted respect towards the opponent to our workout attire, available exclusively in this online shop. All fabrics are made of the highest quality comfort cottons and smart materials to sustain vigorous activity but to also be versatile enough for wear outside of the boxing ring. About the Logo
Roman designed the boldly famous New York Boxing Department logo when he was in between boxing fights and matches, traveling across Ukraine and winning championships. The skull with the two hands up in a widely- recognizable boxing stance symbolizes the eternal struggle of boxing – it is a deadly sport, and serves as a warning to others not to interfere, while also in parallel celebrating life and the beauty of peace and eternal love, which every wise boxing warrior ultimately possesses. Throw it on and be transported to the boxing journey – where the ultimate joy is the love of the sport, and the agility of the body to react and respond instinctively and immediately to unknown and unexpected triggers.
